This series contains agendas, minutes, and handouts from the Office of Curriculum Committee, the Curriculum Committee, and the Curriculum Administrations Group. Material dates from 1993 to 2011.

Contains clippings and press releases documenting the activities of Duke Medicine. Clippings from outside of North Carolina are from locations such as Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Washington, DC. The bulk of the clippings are from North Carolina newspapers, particularly the Durham Sun, the Durham Morning Herald, and the Raleigh News & Observer. Materials date from 1927 to 1986.

Contains annual reports, correspondence, meetings, organizational records, public relations materials, and subject files from Arena's time as president of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). The Meetings, Committees, and Councils subseries contains planning information for the ad hoc, district, and advisory committees, as well as spring sessions and annual meetings for the AAP. This subseries also contains meeting minutes and agendas for executive board meetings. Internal Business Affairs folders contain newsletters and planning notes for various organizational events from 1970-1978. Subject files contain clippings, promotional information, and correspondence for projects that Arena coordinated with other organizations. Materials date from 1964 to 1992.

Contains drawings, pencil sketches, plates, and two posters of anatomical and medical illustrations created by Blake. Both posters were originally mounted on poster board and have been disassembled for preservation purposes. Captions of items have been transcribed onto item labels, when applicable. Materials date from 1956 to 1980.

Contains minutes for the annual faculty meetings for the Duke University School of Medicine. Materials date from 1965 to 1994.

This series contains items related to the Hyperbaric Center's testing for the Apollo Missions, known for putting the first man on the moon. Contains lantern slides of the moon landing, technical drawings, space illustrations, equipment, and testing results. Also contains a photograph of Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin with the planted U.S. flag, signed by Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin. Materials are undated and therefore date to the missions, circa 1961 to 1975.

Contains reports, budgets, work plans, progress reports, screening data, and general files pertaining to Area K pediatrics health program in rural North Carolina. Materials date from 1974 to 1995.

Contains Duke Administrative Professionals Affinity Group's branded items from their swag bag: bookmark, pen, pin, tote bag, and lion squeeze toy. Materials date to 2024 when the swag bag was created.

Contains articles, meeting notes, reprints, and minutes created by Joseph E. Markee, Francis Huntington Swett, and others pertaining to the activities of the Department of Anatomy (now the Department of Biological Anthropology and Anatomy) at Duke University, including curriculum scheduling and the new teaching facility (1965). At least a portion of these papers appear to have been assembled by Kenneth Duke, a former associate professor in the Department of Anatomy. Materials date from 1930 to 1983.

Contains a cassette tape and several VHS tapes that feature interviews with Hammond. Materials range in date from 1991 to 2003, and some are undated.

Contains coverage of festivals, presentations, special events, reports, dedications, tributes to faculty members and scholars, institutional histories, and commemorations. Audiovisual formats in the series include VHS tapes, U-Matic tapes, 7-inch reel-to-reel audio, Betacam (small) tapes, 16mm 3.5-inch video, magnetic tapes [silverchrome videotape], 5-inch reel-to-reel audio, CDs, and DVDs. Materials range in date from 1960 to 2013.

Contains letters, reports, photographs, diplomas, and newspaper clippings pertaining to Davison's biography and genealogy. Materials date from 1881 to 1972.

Contains clippings, notes, curriculum vitae, and obituaries about alumni, faculty, and administrators. Materials range in date from the 1930s to the present.

Contains materials pertaining to Wagner's involvement in training staff at Cabarrus Memorial Health in Concord, North Carolina. The hospital, a Duke affiliate, was renamed NorthEast Medical Center in 1997 and then became Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in 2007. Types of materials includes correspondence, budgets, reports, agendas, minutes, CVs, applications, notes, schedules, surveys, brochures, and directories. Materials date from 1973 to 2002.

During the 1970s and 1980s, Orgain's research interests included the diagnosis and treatment of endocarditis, the diagnosis and pharmacological treatment of arrhythmias and congestive heart failure, and the investigation and pharmacological therapy of hypertensive vascular disease and of coronary artery disease. Contains newsletters, lists, memoranda, and financial materials pertaining to the Cardiovascular Diseases Service and the Cardiovascular Diseases Research Fund at Duke University. Materials range in date from 1946 to 1989.

This series contains materials relating to Heyman's work with the Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease (CERAD). Materials include research on Alzheimer's, correspondence, CERAD meeting minutes, and test materials. Also included is material from CERAD studies in the United States and abroad, including studies in different languages. The bulk of these studies include English translations. Materials in this series date from 1959 to 2007.

Contains newspaper clippings pertaining to the trend in the 1980s to end smoking in the workplace and the specific effort to end smoking for staff and patients at the Duke University Medical Center. Also includes newspaper cartoons about smoking cessation, posters used to educate the Duke University Medical Center population of the plan to make the Medical Center smoke-free, and of the services available to help smokers quit. Materials date from 1983 to 1991.
