Doyle Gene Graham (b. 1942), a Duke alum, served as an assistant professor of pathology at Duke University School of Medicine (SOM) from 1971 to 1978 and became a professor of pathology in 1986. Contains materials from Graham's membership on the Planning and Implementation Committee relating to curriculum at Duke University's School of Medicine and department of pathology. Types of materials include correspondence, meeting minutes, transparencies, slides, agendas, and reports. Materials date from 1987 to 1992.

Biographical / historical:

Doyle Gene Graham was born in 1942 in Idaho. He received his MD from Duke University in 1966 and a PhD from Duke in 1971. Graham served as an assistant professor of pathology at Duke from 1971 to 1978. He became a professor of pathology in 1986. From 1987 to 1995, Graham served as the Dean of Medical Education. In 1995, Graham left Duke and became a professor and chair of Pathology at Vanderbilt University.
Although retired, Graham joined the faculty of the newly established Duke-National University of Singapore (NUS) Graduate Medical School Singapore in 2007 and served as the Director of the Body and Disease course.
Graham was previously married to Beth Graham.

These include records of the officers of the University, as defined in the Bylaws, the deans of schools and colleges, and departments, institutes, and other offices as designated by the President.
