This series contains materials created by Sabiston at Johns Hopkins University: a sampling of operative notes showing Sabiston's approach to clinical treatments, curriculum materials, and hospital rounds notes. All personally identifiable health information has been redacted from these clinical treatment files. School of Medicine curriculum revision materials contain correspondence and other materials pertaining to a daily schedule, fees, staffing, fourth- and fifth- year curriculum planning, and some correspondence with Alfred Blalock. Materials date from 1934 to 1996.

Class records series contains files created by both the students and administrators of the Duke University School of Nursing. Types of materials include class meeting minutes, newsletters of student plans and activities beyond graduation, descriptions of terminal projects, course descriptions, photographs, application and graduation demographics, and alumni awards.
