Contains materials that document Easley's personal life. Types of materials in this series are awards and honors; biographical information; Easley's philanthropy, clippings mostly pertaining to Easley's career and accomplishments but also includes an article describing an automobile collision on Guess Road at the Eno River bridge that caused permanent damage to Easley's leg, as it was left shorter than the other after the fractures healed and required her to wear special orthopedic shoes for the rest of her life. Series also contains headshots and portraits of Easley and photographs of her at various times during her life: her Idaho wedding, late 1940s photo in Durham with her husband before a trip; Easley at a medical meeting in Havana, Cuba; photographs of Easley with her husband and their orchid collection; and other photographs of Easley. Memorial materials are also included. The bulk of the memorial materials pertain to Easley's death, but there is a small amount of materials about the Boulware sisters (Lula Inez Boulware and Mary Ella Boulware Taylor) who worked for Easley and her husband. Easley met the sisters during the Great Depression in the 1930s in a hallway outside of a Duke Hospital operating room. Their bother, Glenn, had recently died, and a Duke doctor wanted his body for dissection at Duke. Their mother, Mattie McCullough Boulware, wanted to bury her son's body. At the time, Lula and Mary were working in the operating rooms at Duke and the doctor told them if they did not turn over their brother's body they would lose their jobs. Easley intervened, Lula and Mary kept their jobs, and their brother was interred. In the early 1940s, when Easley opened her own medical practice, she employed both sisters. Materials date from 1910 to 2004.

Contains photographs of Baker and his colleagues and a notebook describing Baker's Kodachrome photographs. Also includes photographs, notes, sketches, and writings pertaining to postmortem examinations. Materials date from 1912 to 1972.

Contains a scrapbook and bound digital print copy of letters and articles between Dean Wilburt C. Davison and Sir William and Lady Grace Osler. The first page of this scrapbook bears the inscription: "Wilburt Cornell Davison from William Osler, in memory of Oxford, July 27, 1916". Also contains letters from the Oslers, to Dean Davison and from Grace Osler to Davison's wife, Atala Thayer Davison, and from Grace Osler's sister, Susan R. Chapin to Davison, as well as clippings, including articles either by or relating to Osler, the Oslers' obituaries, and a short manuscript by Davison, "Sir Williams Osler's story of his life." Materials date from 1913 to 1950.

This series contains Dr. Behnke's research files, which include research notebooks, articles, charts, reports, experimental studies, and evaluations. The series is arranged alphabetically within each subseries. The materials date from 1935 to 1990.

Contains correspondence, meeting and conference materials, programs, certificates, notes, meeting minutes and agendas, teaching materials, subject files, clippings, and other materials pertaining to Onyekwere Akwari's professional activities. The materials in this series may be related to the materials in other series. Materials date from 1914 to 2020.

Contains bound volumes and individual reprints of articles and short writings by Davison. Materials date from 1915 to 1969.

Contains bachelors and master's diplomas, certifications, notes, photographs, menus, a colonial dinner invitation, pins, a travel schedule, a medical license, and a Willie Nelson sponsor pass. Materials range in date from 1915 to 2008, and some are undated.

Contains published articles, manuscript materials, and other short writings, including chapters and writings from "The Compleat Pediatrician." Materials date from 1916 to 1969.

Contains subject files with financial information, reprints, reports, manuscripts, correspondence, and newspaper clippings pertaining to the health care education activities of Davison, his colleagues at Duke, and other universities in North Carolina.
