Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans (1920-2012) is a member of the Duke family and a female philanthropic leader in health care at Duke and in the Durham community. Interviews were conducted on July 27, 2006 and August 2, 2007 by Jessica Roseberry as part of the Women in Duke Medicine Oral History Exhibit. In the 2006 interview, Semans discusses her experiences with health care at Duke and in Durham throughout her lifetime. In the 2007 interview, Semans discusses issues in women's health and women who were Duke physicians and who worked in health care in general.
