Albert Heman (1916-2012) was a Professor of Neurology and Chief of the Division of Neurology at Duke University Medical Center (1964 to 1969). This collection contains 1 oral history interview conducted on December 18, 1985 by Dr. James Gifford. In the interview Heyman discusses his research of Alzheimer's disease, beginning in the late-1970s, and the subsequent development of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Duke University Medical Center. He also discusses his collaboration with Lisa Gwyther and Allen Roses.
