Continuing Education Achievement Points, 1955-2001

Contains records related to continuing education programs administered by the North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association (NCLPNA). To improve patient care, the NCLPNA encouraged all its members to actively participate in continuing education events, including workshops, sessions during annual conventions, and other events. To incentivize participation by recognition of achievement, NCLPNA, administered a Continuing Education Achievement Point (CEAP) Program. The CEAP Program was established in 1975. The NCLPNA provided notice of organizational and sponsored events to members and tracked individual members' completion of events.

Completion Logs by Member, 1977-1996

Contains records related to individual North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association members' completion of Continuing Education Achievement Points (CEAP) workshops. Members received their own manila folder, with space allotted on the exterior and interior of the folder to log the names and dates of each completed CEAP workshop. Occasionally a member's manila folder contains documents; the majority are empty. Folder labels have been secured in place with Plastiklips due to the degradation of adhesives. Materials range in date from 1977 to 1996.
