Contains records related to annual state conventions held by the North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association. Materials include advertisements, statistics, booth contracts for vendors, ribbons, evaluation forms, flyers for bake sales and other fundraisers, workshop announcements, programs, annual reports, itineraries, committee meeting minutes, menus, and hotel pamphlets. Materials are arranged chronologically. Folders indicate the city and location where conventions were held. Master copies of certain documents were printed using Gestetner-brand mimeograph stencils; these materials are housed separately where indicated due to strong odor of the ink. Materials range in date from 1961 to 2010, and some are undated.

Individuals, 1964-2008, undated

Contains administrative records pertaining to individuals within the North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association at the leadership and general member levels, as well as a few individuals outside the organization. In prior recordkeeping systems, certain individuals were assigned a folder, as was the case with Sybil Lucas. These were kept, while other individuals were designated a new folder as records concerning their activities accumulated during processing. Materials include personal and professional correspondence, curriculum vitae, job descriptions, employee tax records, personal notes, drafts of speeches, and other documents. Subseries is arranged by last name. Materials range in date from 1964 to 2008, and some are undated.
