This series contains items related to the Hyperbaric Center's testing for the Apollo Missions, known for putting the first man on the moon. Contains lantern slides of the moon landing, technical drawings, space illustrations, equipment, and testing results. Also contains a photograph of Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin with the planted U.S. flag, signed by Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin. Materials are undated and therefore date to the missions, circa 1961 to 1975.

This series contains items related to the Atlantis dive series, led by Dr. Peter B. Bennett and Dr. Richard Moon. Duke scientists studied the effects of long-term extreme pressure on the human body by simulating undersea dives in Duke's Hyperbaric Center. Series contains photographs, slides, and negatives of Atlantis divers and researchers at work. Also contains a commemorative patch and an oxygen disassociation curve tool. Materials are undated and therefore date to the missions, circa 1978 to 1984.

Contains photographs and negatives of lab construction and staff at work; 35 mm slides of teaching materials and the filming of "Brainstorm" (1983); materials related to the 5th Annual Joseph Priestly Lecture; collaborations between Duke, the U.S. Navy, and Germany's GKSS Gusi; and drawings referencing hyperbaric puns. Also contains three CDs documenting work and an event at the Hyperbaric Center. Materials range in date from circa 1963 to 2007.
