Markee, Francis Huntington Swett, and others pertaining to the activities of the Department of Anatomy (now the Department of Biological Anthropology and Anatomy) at Duke University, including curriculum scheduling and the new teaching facility (1965). At least a portion of these papers appear to have been assembled by Kenneth Duke, a former associate professor in the Department of Anatomy. Materials date from 1930 to 1983.

Contains portraits of Francis Huntington Sweet, the first professor and chairman of the Department of Anatomy; Elizabeth Glen Swett, student counselor; William Alexandra Perlzweig, professor of biochemistry; Joseph Eldridge Markee, chair of the Department of Anatomy, John Everett, professor of anatomy; David Robertson, chairman of anatomy; and Talmage Peele, professor of anatomy. Types of materials include black-and-white photographs and paintings. Materials are from 1965 and undated.
