Series also includes correspondence relating to Trent's death, the subsequent donation of his private collection to Duke Hospital Library, and Mary Duke Biddle Trent's work as the editor of the Osler centenary series for the Thumbnail Sketches, a series started by Trent and taken over by Duke Biddle Trent after her husband's death. Materials date from 1930 to 1961.
