Includes meeting minutes, agendas, and documents from the School of Medicine's Third Year Committee and Curriculum Committee, various email attachments sent to medical students from the Office of Curricular Affairs, Duke University School of Medicine Student Research Symposium (formerly named the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Annual Scientific Research Symposium) materials, curriculum materials, and financial documents. Materials date from 1999 to 2023.

Processing information:

Material in this collection was processed using AXAEM's Electronic Records Processing module, which incorporates Bagger as a way to package electronic files with technical metadata. Captured digital content was ingested into AXAEM, where ClamAV Anti-Virus software detected and cleaned any computer viruses. The cleaned files were saved on the Duke University Medical Center Archives' secure server with a regular backup schedule. Includes 2050 files totaling 546.69 MB that are available for research: Accession A2019.092 (27 files totaling 23.7 MB), Accession A2021.002 (13 files totaling 58 MB), Accession A2021.004 (17 files totaling 5.99 MB), Accession A2021.054 (13 files totaling 3.97 MB), Accession A2021.089 (16 files totaling 19.9 MB), Accession A2022.006 (15 files totaling 2.04 MB), Accession A2022.014 (46 files totaling 9.48 MB), Accession A2022.017 (1299 files totaling 44.0 MB), Accession A2022.032 (395 files totaling 64.2 MB), Accession A2022.041 (65 files totaling 80.0 MB), Accession A2023.001 (16 files totaling 1.82 MB), Accession A2023.002 (59 files totaling 218 MB), Accession A2024.002 (53 files totaling 12.4 MB), Accession A2024.003 (16 files totaling 1.86 MB).

Collection restrictions:

Contains Medical Center Administrative records. These include records of the officers of the University, as defined in the Bylaws, the deans of schools and colleges, and departments, institutes, and other offices as designated by the President. For a period of twenty-five years from the origin of the material, permission in writing from the director of the office of record and the Medical Center Archivist is required for use. After twenty-five years, records that have been processed may be consulted with the permission of the Medical Center Archivist. (Issued by the Office of the Chancellor, December 1, 1975).
