Creator:
North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association
Scope and content:

Contains records related to Continuing Education Achievement Points (CEAP) workshops administered by the North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association. Records are organized by the workshop name and/or event number, location of event, and member completion status.

Workshop folders provide basic event information with completed forms and supportive materials, including Notification of Single Continuing Education Event forms, instructors' biographical information, program outlines, supporting handouts, rosters, program evaluations, and correspondence. Folders are arranged by workshop number, name, and date. For workshops that were not assigned a number, folders are labeled by workshop name and location and are arranged chronologically.

General information about participating hospitals and healthcare facilities that served as workshop and event locations is arranged by name alphabetically under the heading "Sites."

A catalog of index cards provides a breakdown of workshops by name, point allocation, and number of possible credit hours. Cards are arranged in no discernible order under the heading "Credit Hour Card Catalog."

A completion tracking system using membership cards indicates when members would need to fulfill their yearly CEAP requirements. These index cards, arranged under the heading "Completion Tracking System," have been left in situ, with the latest completion dates in 2001. Some cards are arranged by month, while others are arranged by last name. Additional cards are arranged in no discernible order.

Types of materials include documents, photographs, and index cards. Materials range in date from 1955 to 2001.
