Creator:
North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association
Scope and content:

Contains records concerning the North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses Association (NCLPNA) Executive Board, including meeting minutes and agendas; area chapter meeting minutes and reports mailed by presidents and secretaries; delegate nomination forms; official motion ballots; Past Presidents Council meeting minutes; and job descriptions, including salary ranges and benefits information. Types of materials include documents and photographs. Arrangement of certain records from 1999 to 2010 reflects organization of files into three-ring binders maintained by Patricia Beverage, NCLPNA President, and possibly Barbara Ewing, NCLPNA Secretary. The bulk of Executive Board meeting minutes can be found in the Minutes series. Materials range in date from 1972 to 2010, and some are undated.

Of interest are 2003 President's Report and 2004 Nominating Committee records, which include a list of all NCLPNA presidents from 1947 to 2004 and photos of unidentified convention attendees, as well as a photo returned from publication of past President Edna Propst with Tina Morris, LPN, who was thought to be the "oldest living licensed practical nurse in the state" when she was profiled in the Sunday edition of "The Daily Independent" (Kannapolis, NC) on September 14, 1980.
