Digital files in this series include the Medical Center Library's administrative records the document the number of reference questions and statistics from the Duke University Medical Center Library Research and Education Department, formerly the Instruction and Education Services department, information regarding the Library's reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Library and Archives policies, and Annual Snapshots. Files date from 1992 to 2023.

Material in this collection was processed using AXAEM's Electronic Records Processing module, which incorporates Bagger as a way to package electronic files with technical metadata. Captured digital content was ingested into AXAEM, where ClamAV Anti-Virus software detected and cleaned any computer viruses. The cleaned files were saved on the Duke University Medical Center Archives' secure server with a regular backup schedule. Includes 302 files totaling 574.44 MB that are available for research: Accession A2018.025 (110 files totaling 2.28 MB), Accession A2020.046 (7 files totaling 559 MB), Accession A2021.007 (5 files totaling 38.9 KB), Accession A2021.010 (5 files totaling 67.1 KB). Accession A2021.011 (167 files totaling 7.34 MB), Accession A2021.087 (8 files totaling 128 KB), Accession A2024.010 (9 files totaling 5.39 MB)

Accession A2020.046: contains digital files documenting the reopening plans of the Medical Center Library during the COVID-19 pandemic regarding the role of the administrative liaison and the lobby desk guard.
Accession A2021.007: contains Duke University Medical Center Library's "Reopening Library Spaces Fall 2020" (version 6) living document for reopening protocols after closing on-site services for a period of time because of COVID-19.
Accession A2021.010: contains the Duke University Medical Center Library and Archives Team Norms.
Accession A2021.011: contains the Duke University Medical Center Library and Archives policy manual.
Accession A2021.087: contains updated policies from the Duke University Medical Center Library and Archives policy manual.

Contains Medical Center Administrative records. These include records of the officers of the University, as defined in the Bylaws, the deans of schools and colleges, and departments, institutes, and other offices as designated by the President. For a period of twenty-five years from the origin of the material, permission in writing from the director of the office of record and the Medical Center Archivist is required for use. After twenty-five years, records that have been processed may be consulted with the permission of the Medical Center Archivist. (Issued by the Office of the Chancellor, December 1, 1975).
