Scope and content:

Contains digital files from the following accessions: Accession A2018.053. Includes 8 PowerPoints, 5 JPG files, 6 GIF files, 68 WAV files, 6 VLC audio files, 1 HTM file, 1 database file, and 163 PDF files. The image, HTM, and database files relate to the proceedings of an Annual HRPP Conference attended by McKinney in 2007. The PDF files contain the conference's schedule of events and the various academic papers presented at this conference. The audio files contain recordings of McKinney's 1999 and 2000 presentations on Clinical Trials for Special Populations, and the PowerPoints feature the corresponding visual aids. All materials were stored on removable media in McKinney's collected files on his tenure as Vice Dean for Research, which are contained in the Vice Dean for Research series. The captured digital files were transferred as Compact Discs from McKinney's personal files to the Duke University Medical Center Archives. Use Notepad to open HTM and database files. Materials range in date from 1999 to 2007.

Contains Medical Center Administrative records. These include records of the officers of the University, as defined in the Bylaws, the deans of schools and colleges, and departments, institutes, and other offices as designated by the President. For a period of twenty-five years from the origin of the material, permission in writing from the director of the office of record and the Medical Center Archivist is required for use.
