Contains digital files from the following accessions: Accession A2019.033. Includes a paper presented by Maddox at the Glaxo Wellcome Long-Term Care Research Seminar, a radio interview with Maddox regarding geriatric care in the United States, and a video for the ElderSafe program collected by Maddox. File types include Word (.doc), Audio (.wma, .cda), and Video (.BUP, .IFO, .VOB). The digital files date from 1999 to 2006, with original material dating from the same time range.

Processing information:

Material in this collection was processed using AXAEM's Electronic Records Processing module, which incorporates Bagger as a way to package electronic files with technical metadata. Captured digital content was ingested into AXAEM, where ClamAV Anti-Virus software detected and cleaned any computer viruses. The cleaned files were saved on the Duke University Medical Center Archives' secure server with a regular backup schedule. Includes 18 files totaling 728 MB that are available for research: Accession A2019.033 (18 files totaling 728 MB).

Arrangement:

Accession A2019.033: contains digital files pertaining to Maddox's career at the Center for the Study of Aging, specifically his work with the Long Term Care Resources Program and Community Partnerships for Older Adults. The original carriers for the files are located in Box 20, FF 48; Box 20, FF 99; and Box 23, FF 11.
