Contains digital files from the following accessions: Accession A2020.072, Accession A2024.023. Includes files documenting the Duke Med Chapter of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) student group, an organization founded to represent, support, educate, and unify US Latinx medical students. The records include files documenting activities, meetings, volunteering, and other materials created by the Duke Med Chapter of the LSMA. Materials date from 2013 to 2020.

Processing information:

Material in this collection was processed using AXAEM's Electronic Records Processing module, which incorporates Bagger as a way to package electronic files with technical metadata. Captured digital content was ingested into AXAEM, where ClamAV Anti-Virus software detected and cleaned any computer viruses. The cleaned files were saved on the Duke University Medical Center Archives' secure server with a regular backup schedule. Includes 287 files totaling 53.83 MB that are available for research: Accession A2020.072 (13 files totaling 10.9 MB), Accession A2024.023 (274 files totaling 42.8 MB).

Arrangement:

Accession A2020.072: contains digital files pertaining to the Duke Med Chapter of the Latino Medical Student Association student group documenting their group and events with flyers for events, meeting materials, and other records documenting the student group.

Accession A2024.023: contains images from the 6th Annual Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) Southeast Regional Conference in 2014.
